Energy Healing for Teens And Kids — Because They're Carrying More Than You Know

If you've found your way to energy healing as an adult, there's a good chance you've thought at some point — I wish I'd had access to this when I was younger.
Most of us arrived here after decades of accumulation. Patterns so ingrained we'd stopped seeing them. Wounds so old we'd mistaken them for personality. Years of carrying things that, with the right work, could have been addressed before they had time to calcify.
Your kids don't have to wait that long.
Children Are Not Energetically Neutral
From the moment they arrive — and some would argue before — children are energetically absorbing. The stress of the birth process. The emotional environment of the home they come into. The unresolved material their parents are carrying. The energetic quality of the spaces they occupy and the people they spend time with.
They don't have the language for any of it. They often don't have the awareness. But their fields are registering everything.
A young child who seems inexplicably anxious, who won't settle, who is struggling in ways that don't have a clear external cause — there is often an energetic component that nobody is checking for. This is where energy healing for teens and kids comes in, working alongside medical or developmental assessment, not instead of it. The two are not in conflict. They're addressing different layers of the same child.
What Makes Energy Healing Different for Teens and Kids
The most important thing for a parent to understand is this: your child does not have to talk, perform, explain, or understand what's happening for this work to be effective.
That changes everything — especially for children who struggle to articulate what they're experiencing, who shut down under pressure to explain themselves, who don't have words yet for what they're feeling, or who have learned that expressing what they feel isn't safe.
Energy healing for kids is non-invasive. No physical touch is required. Sessions are conducted remotely — your child can be relaxed in their own environment, doing something comfortable, while the work takes place. There is no clinical setting, no pressure, no requirement to perform insight or cooperate in ways that feel exposing.
The field communicates what the mouth won't. And I follow what the field shows me.
The Teenager Who Has Shut Down
This is where I want to speak directly to parents who are watching their teenager disappear into themselves and don't know how to reach them.
Adolescence is one of the most energetically vulnerable periods of a person's life. The field is still forming. Identity is in flux. Teenagers are absorbing massive amounts of incoming energy — from peers, from social environments, from content, from the collective — without the tools or the awareness to process or filter any of it.
Add the normal intensity of adolescent emotion, the social pressure, the academic stress, the beginning of understanding who they are and what they've come from — and you have a field that is genuinely overwhelmed, often without the young person being able to name why.
Teenagers shut down verbally because talking feels exposing. Because they don't always have language for what they're experiencing. Because they often believe something is fundamentally wrong with them and the last thing they want to do is confirm that by saying it out loud to an adult who might tell them they're being dramatic.
Energy healing doesn't ask them to do any of that. It works with what's actually present — the anxiety, the heaviness, the interference, the energetic patterns they've absorbed — without requiring them to perform self-awareness they don't yet have.
I'm currently working with an 11-year-old with extreme anxiety. The work happens without him having to explain or examine or articulate anything. His field communicates directly and we address what's there. His mother sees the difference. He feels the difference. That's enough.
When Words Aren't Possible
Some of the most meaningful work I've done has been with children who cannot communicate verbally at all.
I work with a young woman in her mid-twenties with Angelman's syndrome — non-verbal, complex needs. Her mother noticed the difference after the first session. Eyes brighter. Walking better. Something had shifted that her mother, who knows her better than anyone, recognised immediately.
The absence of verbal communication is not a barrier to this work. The energetic body communicates regardless of whether the person can speak. If anything, working with someone who cannot filter or perform or present a version of themselves that they think is expected — the field is completely honest. There is nothing in the way.
What I've also seen — consistently — is how much more is actually present in these individuals than the world gives them credit for. The awareness inside a non-verbal person is often profound. The field communicates it clearly even when nothing else can. They are not absent. They are simply speaking a language most people haven't learned to hear.
What Children Can Carry From the Family Field
This is something parents don't always want to hear but need to:
Children absorb what their parents haven't cleared.
The unresolved trauma, the emotional patterns, the energetic interference — children are living inside their parents' fields from the very beginning. They take on what's in the environment the way a sponge takes on water. Not because anything is wrong with them. Because that's how energy works and children have very little filtering capacity.
Sometimes the most effective thing a parent can do for their child's wellbeing is do their own work. Clear what you're carrying and watch what changes in the child without the child having a single session.
And sometimes the child needs direct work on what they've absorbed — patterns and interference that have become their own and need to be addressed directly rather than through the parent.
Both are true. Often simultaneously.
What It Looks Like When a Child Grows Up With This
My granddaughter has been receiving energy healing since she was young. She's twenty now.
She wrote me a review recently that spoke to how much the work supported her through her teenage years — one of the most turbulent periods energetically for anyone. What strikes me most is not what she said about the past. It's how she lives now.
She knows her own field. She recognises when something feels off, when she's picked something up, when something has shifted, when she needs support. And she asks for a session the way someone else might take care of any other aspect of their health. No drama, no crisis, just awareness and action.
That's what it looks like when energetic awareness becomes a normal part of life from the beginning. A young person who knows herself, trusts her own signals, and has tools for maintaining her own wellbeing that most adults spend decades trying to find.
That's what's available for your child.
What to Expect in a Session for a Child
Sessions for children are gentle, completely non-invasive, and conducted remotely. Your child does not need to be present in any particular way. Just relaxed at home, doing something comfortable, is ideal.
I scan the energetic body, identify and address what's present — interference, absorbed patterns, anything that has moved into the field and doesn't belong there. Where appropriate, I work through Body Intuitive — a structured modality that addresses specific physiological systems including the brain, the endocrine system, the immune system, and the cellular level, alongside the energetic body.
I will give you a clear picture of what I found and what was addressed. For younger children especially, your observations in the days following a session matter — changes in sleep, mood, behaviour, energy levels. The field responds to the work in its own time and the signs show up in daily life.
This work supports but does not replace medical, developmental, or psychological care. It addresses a layer that those approaches don't reach — which is precisely why it can produce results that those approaches alone sometimes cannot.
FAQ
Is energy healing safe for children?
Yes. It is completely non-invasive, requires no physical contact, and is conducted remotely. There is nothing for the child to do and nothing that can cause harm. No medication, no chemicals, no physical intervention of any kind. The work is gentle by nature — children's fields are responsive and often require significantly less than adults who have been carrying things for decades.
My child won't talk about what they're going through. Will this still work?
Yes — and in some ways it works better. The energetic body communicates directly regardless of whether the person can or will articulate what they're experiencing. Your child doesn't need to explain, cooperate, or even understand what's happening. The work meets them where they are.
My teenager is skeptical. Does that matter?
Skepticism is not a barrier, particularly in younger people whose resistance tends to be less entrenched than in adults. The work addresses what's actually present regardless of belief. Results tend to handle the skepticism.
Should I get a session myself before booking one for my child?
Often yes — and not just for the reasons you might expect. Understanding the work from the inside makes you a better support for your child through the process. And clearing what you're carrying reduces what your child is absorbing from your field, which is its own form of healing for them. Many parents find that their own work creates noticeable shifts in their children without the children receiving direct sessions.
What age do you work with?
Young children through adults. The work adapts to whoever is on the table, and wherever they are in the world.
If you're thinking about your child right now, that's worth paying attention to.
